Girum Ermiyas is the most decorated Ethiopian Film Actor, He was born in 1978 In Addis Ababa, He has an amazing acting talent, in order to take his potential to the highest level he has studied Theatrical Art in Advance. he has been crowned as Best Ethiopian male Actor on the Ethiopian Film festival three years in a row.
Girum Ermiyas is married and father of two children.
This is his first film to Write and Directed it.

The shoe maker Pages is my first film as a writer and Director, and it won't be my last, it's just a beginning which many films will follow, but The Shoe maker pages will be an inspiration to those who have dedicated them selves for the good of their families, friends, loved once and country even..

A man who mended a torn out shoes for the last forty seven years in a row..imagine the number.. we are living in a hectic life..a life we seek changes everyday.. new things..but look at Gulillat(The main character).. it will define patience and love.. hope and hopeless.. selfishness and caring for others.. please sit tight and enjoy..
