"Beat Compleat" Formed in 2010, and are Mick Bartram and Paul Hart , , , , , Mick on vocal, drums, Keyboards and sequencer - Paul on lead guitar and vocals - Lyrics and music by Mick Bartram and Paul Hart , , , , , , , , We want to prove that you don't have to spend loads of money on flashy expensive music software, "Everything As It Is" and "Love Is Pain" were made with Modplug Tracker and Audacity, and are FREE programs . . . . We used a sequencer for the IBM compatible PC called Modplug Tracker, its a protracker clone, we used the amiga protracker 20 years ago to make them drum lines remember ?. . . we imported the four tracks from Openmpt into a 16 track digital recorder called Audacity then added vocals and guitar solo. . . ., The third program we use is Cubase Elemental 7 , , , , ,
Having spent our late teens in the early 80s, we now miss the ice cold sounds of the early 80s UK analogue synth pop bands, so in creating are sound it harks back to that unique short 4 year period 80-83 , , , We Have many influences, but mainly Yazoo, Depeche Mode, OMD, Gary Newman, Joy Division, Eurythmics, Vangelis and 70s Kraftwerk, Jean Micheal Jarre, early Human League , , , And of course we have a Classical influence , , ,
