BARRY P. AMBROSE has a Master of Telecommunication Arts and Film degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence College, and a Certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA. A veteran of the United States Army, he served over nine years as a military intelligence officer, specializing in counter-insurgency and terrorism. He wrote "The Color of Freedom," a historical drama about a buffalo soldier which was selected as a quarter-finalist in both the Nicholl Fellowships and the Fade In: Screenwriting Awards. Barry was also a semi-finalist in the Writers Network Screenplay Competition and the Lone Star Screenplay Competition. Barry is the co-writer of the action-adventure "Arabian Nights" currently in development.
CHRISTOPHER STAPLETON went to the University of Michigan where he graduated with a dual degree in Theater and Communications. He also played on the football team as the starting punter. Along with co-authoring screenplays with his partner, he has had starring or guest-starring roles in numerous feature films and television shows, including the television pilot "Dead Man Running" starring Michael Madsen.
Barry and Chris wrote the dark noir "Hidden Face" the winner of the 2016-2017 CrowdSource Studios Feature Film competition, out of 10,000 scripts entered worldwide. "Hidden Face" also finished third in the Fade In: Screenwriting Awards. Their period noir "Milwaukee" was just selected as the runner-up in the ScreenCraft 2017 Action/Thriller Screenplay Competition, and won a Gold Award in May 2016 presented by the LA Neo Noir Novel, Film, and Script Festival.
Barry and Chris co-wrote, and Chris produced and starred in, the award-winning short film "Compulsion" (https://youtu.be/GiXrzg_tZw8). Their action-adventure "Allegiance" placed second in the Fade In: Screenwriting Awards, and they have also optioned other scripts as well as performed rewrite duties or writing assignments for both feature films and the produced television pilot "Dead Man Running" (http://www.christopherstapleton.com/deadmanrunning.html) starring Michael Madsen and Christopher Stapleton.
