From the Dust

A villa in the deserted countryside. A man knocks on the door. The owner welcomes him with a gun, "Either you go away or I shoot." The other looks at him amused, with a defiant look. Then urges him to shoot... A bitter fable about time, illusions and cruelty, inspired by traditional folk legends.

Director Biography - Vincenzo Laurella

Vincenzo Laurella is a Sicilian actor and filmmaker. He received his diploma from the drama school Umberto Spadaro of Teatro Stabile di Catania (the most prestigious in Sicily), and has appeared in numerous shows. Dalla Polvere is his first short film.
