Director Biography - Sean Hale

(from time of release) I’m Sean Hale and I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I started making short films using stop motion animation at the age of 8 years old. After experimenting with live action, 8 years and many short films later, I went through a year course for film my freshman year of high school, took on a major role in the student television network for a semester, have been sophomore and junior class president at Bishop Gorman High school, and taken a summer program at SOCAPA.

I had also taken a short but intensive program at New York Film Academy, and released a experimental short film titled “Skeleton House” about human trafficking, revolving around the chaotic ideals of corrupted love and loss of innocence my sophomore year. Starting with that major short and a few before it, I lean toward creating films that raise awareness for serious and dark issues in a way that attempts to appeal to the audience by being both raw and beautiful - taking dark and twisted themes and using them in a alluring and shocking way.

Because of my intrigue for serious and global issues, I take many opportunities to volunteer from my own community to the poorest of the poor in other countries.

This year, I am starting my second major film production titled “Seven Souls,” and am excited to work internationally as a film/music video producer and director with the Canadian dance company “Fame”.
