"That's Disgusting,” a stop motion and 2D animation, reveals a circular chain of interactions between strangers in New York City. Inspired by the diversity of characters and subcultures of this filthy city, I expose a unifying quality between humans: we are all gross. The goal of this narrative is to show how no one is better than another person based on wealth or appearance. While we judge others who are different from us, we are also judged for being different. “That’s Disgusting,” urges viewers not to take themselves too seriously because we are all gross humans in different ways; and that’s cool.
