Benedetta lives in her "prison", which she has carefully built on rational alibis. She hides her dreams and fears within the confined walls of her apartment, the only place where her latent subconscious is allowed to take form.In order to push her beyond the comfort of her boundaries, all it takes, is the movement of one tiny piece of her perfectly constructed jigsaw puzzle, and she will have to face what she never had the courage to face before.

Director Biography - Marianna Adamo

Marianna Adamo
Born in Naples, she started her career very young working in her hometown's "Theatre de poche". She has been directed by Lucio Allocca, Renato Carpentieri and Giacomo Rizzo amongst other prominent figures of the neapolitan theatrical scene, playing important roles of classical and contemporary theatre. She has a natural inclination towards dramatic texts but is drawn to comedy nonetheless. The most meaningful experience in her artistic journey has been working as assistant director to Renato Carpentieri for "La Tabernaria", performed at Naples' "Teatro Mercadante". This experience has allowed her passion for directing to grow stronger, and consolidate thanks to her "Tribute to Garçia Lorca", where she took on both the role of leading actress and director. The performance hit the "Don Orione" theatre in Ercolano as well as numerous summer festivals taking place in Rome and Naples.
At the age of 20 Marianna moves to Rome to pursue her acting studies alongside prominent figures of contemporary cinema such as Sergio Rubini, Marco Risi, Pappi Corsicato, Giovanni Veronesi, Alexis Sweet. She occasionally takes singing, dance and voice over dubbing classes in order to further enrich her artistic baggage. She also participates in Screen Directing workshops with the intent of producing her first film.
