Ireland inspired three short site-specific performance pieces: "Cottage," set in Liadain O'Donovan's Kinvara cottage and "Burren Bagatelle" and "Departure," inspired by the particular topography of the Burren.

Director Statement

My single-channel videos are inspired by the particular environments in which they are shot. The performances are generally slow and contemplative ("Cottage" & "Departure") so "Burren Bagatelle" is deliberately lighter and quicker. I performed all the parts. Together with Stephen Buck, camera and editor, we put all the "characters" in the video simultaneously.
