Born and raised in Costa Rica. The director was used to the streets selling bakery around his local town, dealing with all sorts of street raiders during his childhood.
Manage to finish elementary and high school both hated by the author. He almost finish a degree in anthropology dropping out after four years to follow a series of short studies in design and finally realize the image in movement was his passion, before starting his studies in cinema he founded the first skateboard company in Costa Rica in 2007.
Finally Valdo finished the Film & TV degree in 2016 with a project entitled: "NOISE" a full length documentary thesis about Art, Music and Skateboarding.
