La Orilla del Mar

I met Georgina Equihua Manon when I worked at Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival: we were listening to the American folk musician Ben Prestage. She’s the voice of Ave Sol. I would have liked to make a videoclip to film the Edinburgh’s summer atmosphere: good music and a sort of happiness, due to the 2014 hot weather. Georgina proposed me to get Grainne Foster involved: she’s a violinist. Geo is Mexican and Grainne is Irish. We found the perfect location near the Royal Mile: a little square protected from tourists and festival’s noise, but still close to all this. The mix was great. Georgina with her hot voice and her guitar and Grainne with her violin. The wind, the tourists and the seagulls too seemed to cooperate with the music.
