Dreamkeeper
Tom is a Dream Watchman who is content with a routine life of watching and observing. When seven year old, optimistic Julie escapes her dream, Tom's routine structure comes crashing down. Unknowingly, Julie's child-like thinking gives Tom a new perspective.

Whitney Stephenson is from Cleveland, Tennessee. Her love of film started during her High School Media classes. Starting the classes thinking they would only be a hobby, she soon discovered the possibilities of a film career. With the love and support of her family, she has spent the last four years obtaining her Undergrad in Film and Television at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Not only was she able to study in Savannah, but also she has had the opportunity to study in Lacoste, France. She looks forward to what the future holds, and has greatly enjoyed the experience of making this film.
When I started writing the script, I knew I wanted to tell a story about having a change of perspective, how it could have a huge affect on a person's life and the lives around them. I knew I wanted to highlight the wonderful simplicity of a child. The real difference between Tom and Julie boils down to her cheerful, childlike perspective. Tom lives in a state of mind that most all adults have come to accept. He is bogged down by the rules and expectations of society, just inclined to do his job and not get involved in other people's issues. When Julie bring forth her pure view of the world, she sees that the people are in trouble. It's her natural reaction to want to help. Tom sees the same situation and believes it's none of his concern.
Although "Dreamkeeper" is set in a world of dreams, it's not a film strictly about dreams. Instead, it's about our perspective and roles in the real world. Don't simply be a bystander in our everyday life. I knew when I started the concept art for the dream world that I wanted to create a world that is grounded in reality yet still has mystical elements. Making the film, I believe we achieved what I had hoped for. Thanks to the enormously talented cast and crew. It's been an enjoyable experience bringing the film to life.
