Bicycle

When Aaron and Ruby get lost on their remote weekend getaway they stop at a lone house by the sea and ask a young boy Lucas for directions. Lucas lives with his Aunt who he doesn't seem to like very much, but he likes Aaron's bike. He jumps in the car to show them the way, but his Aunt storms down the path and forbids it. Aaron and Ruby are concerned but then leave. They finally reach 'The Cottage', their destination.

When going for a bike ride later that day they find an upset Lucas at the playground. Ruby enquires about his parents and learns that Lucas is stuck with his Aunt and will never go home. To cheer him up Aaron takes him for a ride on his bike. They have a fun afternoon. When they finally return Lucas home the Aunt is very upset and demands that the two stay away from Lucas. Aaron and Ruby leave, worried, and return to The Cottage.

Later that evening, after falling asleep under the stars, Ruby wakes anxiously from a strange dream about the boy. They retreat into the cottage. Uneasy about the earlier events Ruby tells Aaron that she wants to go home. A power cut and unsettling noises from the outside make matters worse. Aaron runs out of the house to intervene. Ruby stays behind. The cottage is shaken by supernatural forces then Aaron's dead body falls in through the door.

In the light of the moon Lucas wheels a bike back to his Aunt's house. In devastation she urges Lucas to stop the things he's doing. Under a heavy burden she walks the bike to a shed and adds it to the numerous others Lucas has collected.
