MILSUM

Despite leaps in science and technology, human values and social interaction are taking a back seat to such an extent that we no longer consider it important to speak to a person to know them or make an opinion. We have begun to judge people and make opinions at the drop of a hat, based solely on appearance, religion, caste, financial and social standing, and so on. What is even more fascinating is that we have no idea if we are right or wrong in doing so because in a way we ourselves have created these stereotypes.

Director Statement

“Milsum is subtle in its approach, still generic in its appeal. This world is the only place we can live so why live with prejudice? Milsum is based out of my own experience. But I was the one who held grudges, I felt awful that day. And, then Milsum was thought of”.
