The Other Side of the Postcard

In April 2015 police shot and killed 10-year old Eduardo. This caused uproar in the favela of Alemao in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The community began protesting against the Favela Pacification Program that has been ongoing since 2008. 'The River of January' tells the stories of those fighting, and of those caught in the middle.
