Director Biography - Irene Fubara-Manuel

Irene Fubara-Manuel is a practice-led digital media researcher currently in the first year of her Doctorate degree in Creative and Critical Practice at University of Sussex. Her doctoral research includes a practice portion which incorporates animated documentary as a form of retaining negotiating visibility and opacity. Originally Nigerian, her other projects include African Airspace a data visualization and animation project mapping an entire day of commercial air travel over the African airspace.
