Director Biography - Rob Alan Underhill, Gauri Singh

Rob Alan Underhill is an award winning director for "Karma's Shadow" and many other films., DAR HE: The Lynching of Emmett Till, Bragg N East, Wolf Call, No Child, This Was My Son

Gauri Singh is the writer of the award winning film "Samosa", and co-writer and producer of "Home Sweet Home". She is also the writer of full feature film "Yadvi" which is in post production.

Director Statement

We are so humbled and honored to complete a beautiful piece about our State. It all started when I (Gauri Singh) experienced a beautiful life as a first generation immigrant. I was able to accomplish all my dreams in this state where i came in 1987. I wanted to capture the history, the beauty and spirituality, and Rob jumped in to help make this happen. He understood my perspective, and he brought his experience to help in accomplishing a piece that is a tribute to North Carolina. We were able to complete a beautiful product about our State, North Carolina.
