Director Biography - Lina Jalala

Lina Jalala grew up near Riga, Latvia and has been living near Dublin, Ireland since 2005. For about ten years, since 2004, Lina primarily focused on learning and practicing acting part time, while studying Enterprise and Events Management and working in multinational corporations. Then came the urge to learn about editing, screenwriting, directing and producing. Lina has directed and produced five short films, three of which she wrote. Her career goal is to direct a feature film for a major production company.

Director Statement

This is Lina's first short film which is based on a poem that she wrote. Its concept can be compared to a music video for a song where visualisation of the story complements narration of the poem.
