Dastan wants to play soccer. He wants to fit in, he wants to be like everybody else, but he stands out. Or much more, his veil wearing, Muslim mother. When for the first time she, and not his father, visits his soccer game, she becomes the object of his friend's mockery.

Director Biography - Cosima Frei


Born in Zurich, 1987
During an exchange year in New Zealand she discovers
her interest in filmmaking. 2008 she started her filmstudies at
the Zurich University of the Arts, where she currently studies in the Master Programme.
