Director Statement

« Zeitgeist Protest » is an identity quest of sorts. A struggle for finding oneself.
Confusing reality - a stagnant, repetitive and menacing daily existence - with nightmarish mental and carnal visions, the film journeys through the lives of two characters, as lost as they are determined to pursue certain ideals and obsessions.
These characters are, at the very least, dreamers hoping to escaping a certain form of reality.
Their escape leads to another form of entrapment, and through the impossibility of communication, to loneliness once again.
