The house on the outskirts

The story takes place in a small Ukrainian village in early 90s in hot summer. Three friends become witnesses of the UFO crash on the outskirts of their village. Something from the crashed ship get out of it and hide in the old unfinished house terrorizing the villagers. Main charecters discover from the radio that mostly all the world is destroyed by combative aliens so there won't be anyone to help them except themselves. There begins a stand between three friends and the aliens from the house on the outskirts.

Director Biography - Mykhailo Penievskyi

Mykhailo is a first-time movie director with no filmmaking education. He graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as a medical engineer but always wanted to try himself as a filmmaker. The "House On The Outskirts" is his first attemp to step into cinema world.

He is working now as a biomedical engineer with a knee surgery implants for patients from all over the world.

Lives in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Director Statement

This film was created with a passion to European and American sci-fi movies by enthusiastic group of people from Ukraine. Made with no budget and professional education but with a strong desire to tell a story, create an atmosphere of an alien invasion and discover a fear struggle in a desperate situation.

I'm happy to present the movie to everyone and hope that it will find it's audience!
