I read an article about an elderly woman searching for her estranged daughter. I wanted to capture the simple, yet moving relationship reflected in this story; that spoke of a confused troubled soul who searches for her estranged daughter who may reside in one of the cities many hospitals.
As a young filmmaker, I became interested in this story as an example of love and conflict that commonly plays out in family dynamics. It is a story of empathy and forgiveness that reflects who we are, and who we can be.
