Chris started his career in performing arts during high school, studying drama at both GCSE and A-Level. It was in 6th form when he started to move behind the camera working as a DOP and it is here that he has remained ever since. Chris spends most of his time behind the camera working as a freelance DOP and running a Video Production company. However every so often Chris will pass the camera to someone else so he can take over the reins as a director.
Chris' style of directing is, in his own words, "Kinda rubbish. I don't really direct people, I like to let actors improvise, just let them do what they think is right for the scene and usually it turns out good." He mostly works by not having a conventional script, just a few plot points written down. Preferring to work with frequent collaborators who he knows can help realise the story he wants to tell from the notes he gives.
"On-the-go and energetic improvisation and documentary-style action." - G.Woodhouse - DOP for 'An Inconvenient Jedi'
