Steph Spector is from the Jersey Shore. After high school, she headed south to Virginia to study creative writing. College inspired many new adventures for her including a trip to Israel, a summer on a raw vegan lodge and retreat center, and her spearheading a Knight Foundation-funded project at the O, Miami Poetry Festival. Her award-winning poetry is featured in several literary journals and she was shortlisted for a Glimmer Train award in 2015. She advocates for community arts programs and also works at Gotham Writers' Workshop in New York City.
This movie was written, directed, produced, scored, crewed, performed, and edited entirely by Roanoke College students and southwest Virginian locals on a small budget with limited resources. It's proof of what can be achieved when a community unites with the goal to have fun and create meaningful art.
