Carmen has been the Creative Director on more than fifty commercials and marketing videos for her family owned business Marketing Videos TV (www.marketingvideos.tv). She is a former recording artist with songs that have been on commercial radio in Canada and across Europe and on soundtracks in two movies ('Bar Hopping' and 'Shut Up and Shoot'. Other songs are featured on 'Brokenhearted Hollywood' and her song 'I've Lost My Mind' is the show's theme song).
When her career pursuit in the music entertainment industry came to a painful end, she was left to deal with her broken dreams, attempting to lay them down. This didn’t resolve the pain of failure and she realized that some dreams never die, but continue to cry out for fulfillment. More lessons followed and Carmen now leverages her experience as producer and host of the talk show, “Brokenhearted Hollywood,” which helps viewers navigate their dreams without being crushed by them. She and her guests provide entertaining insights on how to NOT become brokenhearted in Hollywood.
I love it when people get their 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances in life. I have been so blessed to have had these extra chances myself, and I want to see people who have given up on their dreams to dream again. I also want to help others to avoid the pitfalls that derail dreams. Writing and producing Brokenhearted Hollywood has been one of the most important things I have done in my lifetime so far. We are in our second season of Brokenhearted Hollywood. Brokenhearted Hollywood has been airing on channel LA 36 every second Thursday for almost a year (first week of January 2017 will be a year). They have been airing re-runs of the first season, and are now airing season two as we send them new episodes. I hope that my show has been helping to encourage people to continue to pursue their dreams until they come true in their lifetime. Thank you for considering my show for your festival. Sincerely, Carmen Traub www.brokenheartedhollywood.com www.carmentraub.com
