Dj StereOtype (also known as Brian Wade, sometimes referred to as Qwalee Summers) is a Dj, Actor, writer , producer, director, casting director, teacher, musician, journalist, on air personality, and performance artist. He is best known for being the Executive Producer and one of the prominent performers of the NYC based television show "SubUrban Underground" that airs on BRIC ARTS MEDIA.

Dj StereOtype started his professional career in 2004, while studying theatre at Valdosta State University. He started feeling stifled by the creative restrictions and lacking of roles for actors of color, which lead him to taking up dj'ing. His first radio experience was as a broadcast dj at WVVS 90.9 Blaze FM. He then transferred to GA State University where he did a weekly graveyard shift dj set at WRAS Atlanta Album 88 88.5 FM in Atlanta, GA. Shortly after beginning his radio show in Atlanta, he began developing and producing TV programming for both People TV and GSTV. This lead to him becoming more involved in writing, producing, and directing television and film projects.

As an on camera personality, Dj StereOtype has interviewed the likes of Tyler Perry, Lynne Whitfield, Blair Underwood , Jamie Kennedy and Emmanuel Lewis, Craig Brewer , Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright, and Nick Frost , Derek Luke , The Rock, Augusten Borroughs, Will Ferrel, Andre 3000, and many more. In the early stages of the show SubUrban Underground many of these interviews were featured.

Dj StereOtype has been a resident DJ at several clubs and lounges in New York City.

In 2012, he released his debut mixtape "My Life In StereO..." on soundcloud.com, also uploading it for download on multiple sharing websites for download. To accompany the release Dj StereOtype performed around New York City and briefly toured the west coast, performing in San Francisco, amongst other places.

In 2013, Dj StereOtype filmed and released a promotional trailer of his long awaited feature film debut "Colours"... This lead to the production of the feature the prequel to the project entitled "Canvas", which is slated for a 2016 run at select film festivals.
