Isolation; fragmented

A short video, a conceptual work that explores the concept of isolation, not isolated, about imprisonment, not imprisoned or the prison. The video consciously avoid pedestrian filmmaking formula. The character (the female protagonist) observes the so called social and common sense experiences reinforced by the social norms. The protagonist takes action upon the estate of isolation through weaving a noose. The untying of the thick rope and weaving a noose is intercut with her interaction with the social life. The noose becomes the symbolic of her conceptual relationship with the idea of isolation vi-a-vis social norms. Making of the noose is the function of the noose. The usage of the noose becomes a redundant concept as the narrative develops.
