Conch Shell
Standing on the roof of the world, Tibet went through vicissitudes and left not only a unique and mysterious land with breathtaking views, but also an inward calling from the ancient. This call is regardless of age, religion, location or life itself. We are suppose to be one family, holy and pious, sharing the beauty and aspiration from each other.
A group of Chinese students were living in a small town in Maine, US. Although their life was peaceful, they never felt stable but confused and uncertain about their future. Finally, one of them, an intrepid teenager took his journey to Tibet to find the eternal picture in his melody and inspiration that he kept dreaming of.
This is a story under a current situation in China that most parents believe that attending to the best college brings the “good future” for their children. However, Jingsha (Vinnie), a mediocre teenager from Beijing, followed a melody spinning in his head, went to Tibet after graduation and spent three years trying to find his dream and true spirit. From the magnificent sceneries, earth and sky, moon and stars, trees and vegetation, mountain and plateau, Jingsha found something deep in his body, someting that he could never get from his bored life in the US – a source of true inspiration...
