Tomorrow I Will Be Thinking About the Future

The title itself, "Tomorrow I Will Be Thinking About the Future", addresses the impossibility of being in, or escaping, the ever-elusive now, and hints at the uncertainty of how we imagine the future.

By taking footage of the Curiosity Rover landing on Mars and juxtaposing it with a smartphone video of our moon being passed by a cloud a sense of nostalgia is created as we are reminded of earlier days of space exploration. This future-nostalgia is underlined by Jim Guthrie's haunting score and the shades of nuclear/alien green that dominate the footage.
