WhyTalkFeminism?
We asked ordinary members of the public to look at a random group of volunteers and decide one thing — who was and who wasn’t a feminist. The results were fascinating, but beg the question — why, in a supposed “equal” society, do we still make judgements on people’s political or social views based on the way they look? Why do we still objectify people, and why aren’t we better educated on matters of gender equality?
This is where the documentary ‘WhyTalkFeminism?’ was born.A short documentary that questions the state of gender equality in the UK, and asks the question, do we need feminist education in schools?
