Gone, Gone, Gone With The Winn's
Gone, Gone, Gone with the Winn's investigates three women, Norma, Margaret and Wilda Winn's personal affiliations with their family history and Saskatchewan. Through their mother's landscape paintings and Saskatchewan present landscape, they come to understand the fortune their parents leave to them, in which the land is "the only thing in the world worth working for, worth fighting for, worth dying for, because it's the only thing that lasts." (Margret Mitchell, Gone With the Wind)

I want to learn more about the idea of land and the integration of life through investigating those "regular"persons. In this film, the Winn's family is barely present individually in visual , but their stories about their rural life represent others in Saskatchewan agricultural society, and their philosophy of living reveals the fundamental meaning of land.
