Director Statement

To quote Ingmar Bergman, "Film as dream, film as music. No art passes our conscience in the way film does, and goes directly to our feelings, deep down into the dark rooms of our souls". I believe truly that film, poetry in images, surpasses all other art forms. Because film works in a way no other art forms can; with a blend of senses, film acts as a mirror for us to stare at and, for a time, allows us to see and examine who we as human beings truly are. I make films because I want not only to give people the mirror and allow them to see their reflection, but so that I may see my own as well.
