Director Statement

Ten Years At Sea is my first feature-length film. Much like Provel cheese, it is heavily influenced by things that bear no similarity to it at all, like the films Uncle Buck and Bringing Up Baby, and the television show Mad Men. It's silly, incredibly naive and sort of intimate. I like small world stories. I like non-events and Ten Years At Sea is without a doubt a series of non-events. It's a brief look into the lives of a few very strange people.
