Christene Seda, a graduate of UNCSA School of Filmmaking, studied both Directing and Producing. Her focus on Producing embedded the knowledge of low-budget filmmaking. Each year she directed and produced a short film and worked in various other positions. She took full advantage of the opportunities UNCSA gave by interning on The Walking Dead and with The American Pavilion in Cannes during the Cannes International Film Festival. In her second year she directed a short film, Helpless, that went on to be officially selected in 12 festivals winning awards in 7 of them including Best Short Film in the Women in Film and Television category at the Nashville Film Festival. She was chosen for Variety's inaugural list of "110 Student's to Watch" in the annual Variety Entertainment Education Report (April 2015). Christene has most recently completed a nine-month internship at Bad Robot Productions where she assisted on additional photography on Star Wars Episode Episode 7, 10 Cloverfield Ln., as a PA on a Profile video for Children’s Defense Fund Beat the Odds Scholarship, and the Oscar 2016 skit. She has also assisted on Behind The Scenes for the upcoming TV show, Roadies, as a sound mixer and covered for assistants to TV and Film Executives. She is currently working on a new film Produced by Bad Robot and Paramount Pictures.
