Into the Light marks Cameron's directorial debut as an independent writer and director. He is a University of New Orleans graduate and works as an editor for various independent productions.
Elder abuse and exploitation is on the rise and directly coincides with the rise in dementia and Alzheimer's. As a creative professional I believe one should tell stories that promote social change. This film forces us (the viewer) to take a look at the neglected segments of our society, in particular our elderly.
