Dark Clouds Far Away
In 2009, my Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimers. This short film is one family's experience of dementia.
The film is the brief story of Beryl, from when she was born in 1932, through to her marriage in 1954, and having me in 1967.
It charts the great memories we have of Mum, and the effects of Alzheimer's on both Beryl, and those closest to her.

I've worked in the media industry, in one form or another, since 1984 - starting off as a volunteer for BBC local radio, before securing a presenter's job on hospital radio.
This was initially a beloved hobby, which led me to work full time as a presenter & producer in local commercial radio, which I did from 1998 through to being made redundant in 2010.
Currently working in the retail sector to earn a living, my passion for the media continues in the form of film-making.
I've always been a creative person, so to set my thoughts, ideas and stories alive, and bring them to a wider audience, really excites me. Ideally, I'd love to change the world! (Wouldn't we all.....?)
But for now, I'm happy to bring some inspiring, emotional and captivating films to the table, now, and in the years to come.....
