Running Waters
The vastness of man is a place suspended in time, bordered by sky, land, river and sea. "Running Waters" is the memory of the rio Doce (Sweet river), one of Brazil’s most important rivers, before it was devastated by the toxic mud on 5th of November, 2015.

Diego Zon is a Brazilian filmmaker that presented his short films in several festivals across Latin America such as Tiradentes Film Festival, Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, Ceara Ibero American Film Festival, International Film Festival of Uruguay and Habana Film Festival. His latest short film "Running Waters" had its world premiere at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale Shorts competition), nominated for Golden Bear. Currently he is preparing his first feature films "Submersal" (post-production) and "The Plant Under The Wild Land" (Venice Biennale College Cinema). Diego is a master degree in film at Lisbon Theatre and Film School, Portugal.
