Silence of Innocence

A poor laborer, Taari, of a small village in Punjab, experiences a conflicting lifestyle, where his unwariness puts his relationship with his daughter at jeopardy. With a promising reward of money and free food, he agrees to attend a number of public protests — Absorbed in his swiftly changing lifestyle, he disregards his daughter’s issue of harassment at her workplace, realising only later that his presence at the protest rallies had contributed to it.
