Jeremi Mattern discovered his passion for filmmaking while in high school, started a public access TV show in college, and won a car through a commercial making contest when he was 20. He then sold the car to start his own production company Danger Films. After graduating from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, he began working at Spiderwood Studios in Utly, TX, where he became the editor and assistant director on the 3D animated film Flight of Magic. In 2013, he directed the feature documentary film Stacker, which focused on young competitive cup stackers from across the world. The film received accolades from several film festivals and gained distribution via Filmbuff. He continues to write and direct films, commercials, and music videos for a wide range of artists including Grammy winning artist Los Lonely Boys.
