Benson's Hope

Benson's Hope - Dreaming to stand tall, tells the story of Ms. Masha Balovlenkov, an American, while in Africa has a chance encounter with Benson, a smart 10 year-old Tanzanian boy. He weights only 50 pounds. He lives in a mudded hut and has to painfully sleep on the hard floor. He has a curved back as a result of a spinal disorder, and was kicked out of school because he didn't look normal. All he wants is to stop being in pain everyday, and to go back to school. Ms. Balovlenkov then comes back to Africa, and becomes his hope, and medically helps him to stand tall again. This wonderful story is about her act of kindness, their connectivity and how she helped Benson to dream again.
