Experiencing Interruptions?

Tunnel Passing

Tunnel Passing transforms such a spiritual-and-physical home coming experience which recalls the young man Tao-yu’s inner conflict between reality and illusion. Looking for the comfort from his lover, his wrong doing is not forgiven; yet incidentally he discovers he has a son. He indulges himself in an atmosphere of melancholy enforcing him fallen into a womb-like tunnel where he meets his younger-self and mother who leaves him in the childhood. Could an enigmatic old man be a reflection of Tao-yu’s unconscious longing for a father-surrogate? Or even he is a projection of himself in the future who eventually constitutes his true value of selfhood. Tunnel Passing is a short film born out of love, yet such kind of love could kill.
