In my heart

I learned to let it go
I learned to let it whistle
I learned to make it burn
I learned to make it drizzle
I know that in my heart
There’s both the wind and fire
I learned to tear apart
My soul and my desire
Chorus : I know, I know, I know, my life is changing me
I feel, I feel, I feel success is chasing me
I run, I run, I run, I run to save myself
Begun, begun, begun, begun to see myself
Now I know, I know what’s truly in my heart
And now I’m feeling happy
Now I know I know what’s truly in my heart
Heart heart heart

I learned to fly away
From things that aren’t my future
I learned to pull away
From very risky ventures
I think I learned to fly
When life gets complicated
I learned not to deny
Success is overrated

Chorus : I know, I know, I know, my life is changing me
I feel, I feel, I feel success is chasing me
I run, I run, I run, I run to save myself
Begun, begun, begun, begun to see myself
Now I know, I know what’s truly in my heart
And now I’m feeling happy
Now I know I know what’s truly in my heart

Rap:
I learned to be at war
With things that want to fight me
I learned to lose rewards
Designed to only buy me
I learned to weigh my passion
I learned to be sincere
To throw away the fashion,
The pride, the hate and fear!

And now I see whats better
And make my own decisions
And now my soul is settled
My point of precision
I learned to be my master
To carry my own burden
I learned to run much faster
And live my life much slower
Chorus : I know, I know, I know, my life is changing me
I feel, I feel, I feel success is chasing me
I run, I run, I run, I run to save myself
Begun, begun, begun, begun to see myself
Now I know, I know what’s truly in my heart
And now I’m feeling happy
Now I know I know what’s truly in my heart

Artist Biography

Hi! My name is Anar. In Farsi language Anar means pomegranate, it symbolizes beauty and fertility. I feel that music is the reflection of my soul, my mental and astral existence.
My compositions are the results of my emotions and feelings. Even if some of these stories from my songs are not directly connected with my life, I still think of them as a part of my world, the world, where everyone lives, you, me, all habitats of our city, our citizens from all over Kazakhstan, all habitats of endless steppes and seas, all Earthmen, people of all nationalities and religions.

I started writing poetry from elementary school, those were simple poems, later on during my teenage years, I started writing more in-depth stuff. My path to music was a complicated one, frankly speaking, I’m still trying to carve it through and I hope it will open up many pleasant surprises in front of me.
During my freshman year in college, I was chosen to be in a girl band through a competitive audition, but also won a scholarship and left to study Computer Science in the USA. Perhaps, I spent lots of time in front of a computer, but acquired knowledge and skills that helped me to fund my own recordings and be sustainable as well as be hands-on with lots of stuff that I do for music. That year I sang in a college chorus, completed a music theory class, enjoyed many musicals, theater shows, concerts of legendary artists and definitely widened my horizons.

Upon my return home, I continued training my voice, recording new tracks and participating in different charity concerts and parties of my friends. I came to realize that it doesn’t matter where you perform on big stages or online, it doesn’t matter how you feel as a song writer, what matters is what you want to bring people, kindness and light or and despair and sadness, how do you want to make the world feel today, what you want them to think about, who to care about.
