Writer Biography - Lucas James Diercouff

I am a Colorado based filmmaker that was born and raised in Denver. Stationed as a combat medic for the U.S. Army in Germany really helped me fall in love with Europe, while film school in LA helped me fall in love with cinema.

Writer Statement

Freedom isn't free and our pursuit of that freedom always starts at home. A family's love for each other is often why we so passionately fight to protect the life that we know. Scotland's recent run at independence was a beautiful testament to the spirit of their country still to this day. Between two deployments as a U.S. Army combat medic, exposure to the history of Europe, and a respect for why we fight... I am determined to make this film for Scotland.
