Adwait Abhyankar is a film and photography professional based in Pune. With a background of theater direction and acting, he thinks of film as a medium to tell stories visually from different colours of the society, which can cross oceans and reach a broader audience . Influenced by Cinema of the greats like Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg , he believes that a film should be like a novel , taking the viewer step by step into a world of creation and imagination and letting them explore and imagine the film, not by feeding them everything through the protagonist but leaving a lot to their own imagination . He also works as a freelance actor and director for short films, corporate films and advertisements.
This film follows the little warnings that were given to us as children, simply put it is based on the quote 'do not touch what is not ours', i had the idea to make this film when i was contemplating on making a short film on a very simple subject, with minimal resources and cast.
The film belongs to the genre 'thriller, suspense, drama', the protagonist in the film is the box itself and it gets revealed step by step in the film, i wanted to bring life to an object and a sense of mystery and i guess the box does that, the performances by each of the actors are commendable, the editor and music composer understood my vision and lead the audience towards the climax, to a desired effect.
