Experiencing Interruptions?

‘Bueno Key’ (2016)

Danny, a cocaine drug dealer, takes up acting as a means of self-expression, but his new obsession creates a rift in his relationship with the love of his life.

Made by a completely dyslexic team under DYSPLA and directed by male/female duo bielecki&bielecka, BUENO KEY follows Danny, his girlfriend, and his acting coach as they each struggle with their respective vices. It courageously explores how expression can offer the illusion of escapism, but begs the question: can we ever truly break free from our addictions?

Short Version: ‘Bueno Key’ (2016) is a Brit Short based on a true story by Dean Stalham, directed by bielecki&bielecka and produced by DYSPLA. The narrative follows the lives of three characters who are trapped in the vicious cycle of addiction; drugs, gambling, ...art and explores the illusion of escapism in all its forms. Bueno Key was created by a completely dyslexic and neurodiverse creative team and is a great example of dyslexic narrative
