Crossing
The story unfolds after Roberto runs over a child and takes him to a public hospital. No-one identifies the child, who remains in a serious condition. Roberto returns to the hospital and begins to accompany the child’s treatment, thereby discovering a totally different way of life, getting close to the people there and developing bonds of affection. This makes him rethink his life and leads to a desire to get closer to his only son, who has left home and with whom he does not have a good relationship.
The film tells two stories in parallel: Roberto looking after the child in the hospital and Roberto trying to find his own son.
