Director Statement

I Want You Inside Me is a modern day Grimm's fairy tale that takes hold from the first moment and consumes you up until the last frame. It is a taxidermy made-up of one part body horror (Polanski & David Cronenberg) and one part teenage drama (My So Called Life).

The film is a Columbia University MFA thesis film shot in my home state of Minnesota, born out of a collaboration of Columbia students, New York indie filmmakers, and a Midwestern cast and crew.

At the Columbia University Film Festival premiere in May 2016, the crowd shrieked, gasped and roared with laughter all the way through the credits and into the next film.

Thank you for your interest in our film, and I hope you watching.
