Adam Karlson is a recent graduate from Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. He will study Film & Digital media at Baylor University in the fall of 2016. While in High School Adam co-directed “Moriens Amore”, and then wrote/directed “All Along the Watchtower”, which won Honorable Mention at the AISD Digital Media Fair and was an official selection of the Fort Worth Indie Film Showcase and the Arlington Frame4Frame and Downtown Tyler film festivals.
Adam is an avid cinephile and independent film fan, volunteering or attending film festivals across Texas and Oklahoma. While at Baylor he plans to participate in its Black Glasses Film Festival, and also bring deserving Baylor movies to the independent film festival circuit.
Film is the most collaborative of arts; mixing audio, visuals, storytelling, and acting to create the most powerful artistic expression that exists. When I get it right, there is nothing to match it. When I get it wrong, I want to put a match to it.
