Director Biography - Charlie Martinez

I am independent animator, professional musician, recording engineer and lawyer.

During my childhood I trained in Garaycochea School where I studied drawing with "Goyo" Mazzeo and cartoon with Oswal (Osvaldo Viola). In parallel, over the years I turned into a regular self-taught musician, multi-instrumentalist today. Oswal teacher drew me a picture for the cover art my first released album ( "Try", 2002).

While in law school, I realized painting courses at IUNA, drawing the human figure in San Martin Cultural Center and cartoon with Rodolfo Mutuverría (Garaycochea).

Today, I am a student of the Institute Film Avellaneda (IDAC) in his second year of Animated Film Direction. In 2015 I attended a workshop Pixilation Stop Motion and teacher Juan Pablo Zaramella, in the Kirchner Cultural Center. The same year Expotoons year selected a short film directed, animated and music by me and four companions IDAC (chess).

I am also the director of a small cartoon studio Argentine, Monstruodibujos and we are just starting to do some commercials and short own content.
