Creating film is the revolutionary process of communicating ideas and concepts through images. My vision is a quest for joy, peace , solutions and understanding of our life's journey our life's purpose as individuals, communities and beyond.
Film captures our thoughts , moods, emotions and our place in the world. It has a way of reminding us that we are human. As humans, we all differ, but at the same time we are essentially the same. We share similar experiences of heartache and happiness.
Our world views are created by our individual experiences. To move forward and obtain a more profound understanding of the world around us, it becomes necessary to escape the confines of our own skin. Slipping on a new pair of eyes and trying on a new coast of skin. That slight change in our point of view can open us up to new ideas, visions and new understandings.
My film work is about moving beyond who we believe we are and instead exploring and creating what we can be. We have always been storytellers. Using images and sounds that tell the stories of our troubles, failures and successes. My art is impactful, yet it also entertains.
I want to teach about the value of human interaction by exploring other perceptions of us in action. More than just reactors, we are creators. Film is the mirror reflecting our lives and our dreams. It reminds us that the stories we each are creating are not pre-written. We have the power to edit it and create the ending of our own choosing.
