JC is an American independent filmmaker. He attended the International Academy of Design and Technology in Toronto, Canada and formed a partnership with James Robinson. Together they founded Frozen Frame Productions.
JC is a passionate and enthusiastic up&coming filmmaker. He is highly creative and has a great eye for detail. "Detail can make or break a scene". JC is more fantasy or fiction oriented but can write and direct any kind of film.
Lately he has been involved with visual effects editing in After Effects and writing feature scripts as well as producing, directing and co-hosting "Age of Reason", a monthly online show that promotes knowledge and common sense.
Initially this project was called "Beyond the Obscure" and the feature film script still carries the name. However, this particular section of the movie was very much inspired by the Silent Hill universe and thus this short exists under the name "Silent Hill Memoria".
I wanted to experiment in the horror genre and I happened to live in the Philippines at the time. The natural surroundings of things that look like they are going to fall apart any second was a source of inspiration. Very similar scenes are present in the feature script, though the characters and objectives do change. In this short however, I just mainly wanted to explore psychological horror and make a twisted story.
